Our OPTIMA lathes provide a 3-axis tool comb. X-1, Z-1, and Y-1, as well as up to 13 positions for turning tools working on the main spindle. This system allows tools to be repositioned very quickly, and to adjust tool height with the control.
The OPTIMA model can also include a turret and a second tool comb for secondary operations, as well as driven tools. The machine can be configured with either a collet or a chuck, as required. Moreover, Low Frequency Vibration (LFV) technology can be incorporated into all OPTIMA machine models.
Furthermore, each of the multi-axis lathes in our OPTIMA range are designed with a compact structure and very agile movements to optimise working times. The careful design and vertical arrangement of tools ensure optimum chip evacuation, as well as easy access to tools.
