OPTIMA 4

The OPTIMA 4 turning centre was developed for greater versatility and faster production cycles in the automatic turning sector. Non-machining times have been drastically reduced, providing significantly better production cycles than most competitors.

The machine offers a rear 3-axis tool comb with a robust tool block.

The system allows very fast tool position changes and tool height adjustment with the control.

The machine has a sub-spindle with Z-2 travel for operations on all surfaces of the component using the rear tool comb. This tool comb allows the component to be machined on both the spindle and the sub-spindle.

Minimum floor space is required thanks to its careful design and the vertical arrangement of tools, which ensures optimum chip evacuation and easy access to tools.

The machine can be fitted with a driven tooling system.

The OPTIMA 4 CNC lathe has a sub-spindle with Z-2 travel. It machines all surfaces of the part using the rear tool comb

3-AXIS REAR TOOL COMB

It has X-1, Z-1, and Y-1 axes, as well as up to 12 positions for turning tools working on the main spindle.

  • OPTIONAL: Rear tool comb with driven tooling system.

    • ER collet system.
    • Maximum speed: 5,000 rpm.

  • Mitsubishi M80V nano CNC control system, extremely fast and powerful control with 10.4" screen.
  • Part programme test.

    • With the manual pulse generator, the upper slide and lower turret can be moved forward and backward with the programme. This feature considerably reduces machine fine-tuning times.
